Nancy Tauber I think she KNOWS that she's someone making sure that this precious rabbit goes back to its rightful owner. Better to be safe then sorry

Nancy Tauber Actually, asking for substantial proof is standard practice when trying to reunite a found pet with its owner. A photo alone isn't always enough, especially with rabbits that can look very similar. The goal is simply to make sure the rabbit is returned to the correct person. I'm not sure why that would be controversial, and there's really no need to be hostile toward someone who's just trying to help keep a found rabbit safe and reunited with its owner.
