Super friendly cat who walked right up to me on my back patio and wouldn't hold still long enough for a photo that does him justice. Not fixed. Super cuddly. Immediately jumped in my lap and wanted to be pet. Has no microchip! My cat is upset so I can't let him inside my hse. Recognize him? I feel so bad he's so sweet

This looks identical to my cat that went missing. But she went missing in New Holland on April 1st.... she's the same size. Same markings.... looks just like her but the dates don't add up. The original post said this cat was found on March 26th I think.

A tough story but a necessary read, and this cat just happened to end up being one of the “lucky ones” who was saved. So many cats are never saved from this abuse and these scenarios happens way too often. Always do screening, vet references, and adoption fees to try and do your part in preventing this. Thanks for caring! Please be very careful about who you give the cat to. This is for people that give cats/kittens away. Please take the time to read it. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/17yrouaRra/

Thanks for caring! Please take the cat to be scanned for a microchip at any local vet. Call ahead. No appointment needed. It is free. Please be very careful about who you give the cat to. Unfortunately, some people pretend to be animal lovers, but they take cats, kittens and dogs to use as bait or in dog fights. People take advantage of the situation and use them for bad things such as bait for dog fighting, feeding them to snakes, selling them to researchers. Some individuals may act like they love animals and are willing to take them, but once they do, they abuse them. Be careful of who you give them too no matter how good their profile looks. A lot of phonies out there. They're very good at making up stories about how they'll give the pet the best home, etc. Some individuals may act like they love cats and are willing to take them, but once they do, they abuse them. This happened to a friend of mine who gave a stray cat to someone, only to later find out that the poor dog was used for dog fights. Please share this on your Facebook and to the Nextdoor Neighbor and/or Ring apps for your area for more visibility. Not everyone is on fb. Try to find rescue organizations in your area and look them up on Facebook. You can call and get on a waitlist; they may be able to help you. ❤🙏
