Neighbors, My elderly dog got out of our yard this evening. She is a 17 year old Shiba Inu. Super sweet but she can’t hear or see very well. She has a Washington Huskies halter on but not her collar. Her name is Taz. Last seen near Thales Way and Whittingham off Algonkian in Sterling. She is microchipped and has been reported lost to the Fairfax and Loudoun county shelters. Please help my girl! Thank you everyone on behalf of my daughter in law and son. They had a pet tracker out today . Dog tracker came. Said the scent trail stopped in the middle of the street in our neighborhood so someone picked her up. If it was an elderly person they may not have Facebook so we need to walk door to door and put the flyers on the stop signs. Tracker also said people may not take her to the shelter until Monday just b/c it’s a weekend. They are going door to door now. Keep sending your thoughts and prayers. Please keep looking for Tazzie, will update when we have more news.
