⭐️1. Personally go into County Animal Services & Pet Shelters because they don’t upload new intakes right away on websites and some not at all. Desk people don’t know all the dogs they have in kennels. Take receipt of annual vaccinations with you. ⭐️2. Notify microchip registrar of missing. ⭐️3. Post on Craigslist under Community in Pets to prevent anyone from selling there. When posting in Craigslist don’t say stolen or they’ll remove your post. Just say missing. Shared.

Please immediately start going door-to-door and do not rely on social media because there are so many people for one reason or another who are not on social media ever and who might have your dog and be taken care of her or might be keeping her safe but they don’t know who to call and they don’t want to turn her into a shelter. Go door-to-door hand out flyers with DAISY‘s picture and your phone number and if you don’t have flyers, go ahead and go, don’t waste time and give them your phone number and send them DAISY‘s picture to their phone.

Immediately put DAISY‘s bed, blanket and water right outside your front door along with numerous items of your own clothing that you have previously worn which still has your SCENT on them and that would be the best to put T-shirts and socks. dogs can track back home by SCENT of 10 to 12 miles.

If DAISY has a microchip contact the microchip company ASAP to confirm that they have your correct contact information and let them know she is missing

Listed are additional sites where you can post lost dogs. Put up lost dog flyers with pictures where everyone who lives in the area will see them including in the parking lot and throughout the complex. Notify the complex managers or office and make sure they have a flyer. Notify shelters and go to shelters in person and leave a flyer. When you get her back, get a tracker or air tag for her.
