Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Please remember to physically go to animal control and see if your cutie pie is there. In Saskatoon, we only have 4 days to reclaim our fur babies. After this, our furry family members become the property of animal control!! Praying for you all 💕🙏

SHOULD/COULD still be close by UNLESS taken. (Kitties will definitely seek shelter in colder, frosty, wintery weather, in shade in high heat, and they definitely don't like the wind or the rain so would definitely hide or shelter nearby.) Check under decks, steps, shrubs and vegetation in the yard. Check up trees and power posts, even roofs. Check in garages and sheds and along alley fence lines inbetween garages and the alley. Put up posters everywhere in your area, put fliers into neighbors mailboxes; contact Animal Control, give them all your and kitty's information, including name, colour whethered spayed or neutered, city tag information (do not post City tag ID number) in case someone is able to hold onto kitty and report to these agencies giving them the tag number and Animal Control or SPCA can find you through the license tag number.... ( ... It should be noted that SPCA does SOMETIMES take on animals from Animal Control...I specifically paid an "in-person" visit to the new facilities and asked them specifically about this issue and was told that they do sometimes help out despite the fact that many of their pets are "surrendered ....) .... they'll have your information and THEY will call you and tell you your kitty is safe at someone's place and give you that information. They DO NOT give your information to the person who has found and is keeping your pet safe for your pickup. *** IF you put its litter box outside be prepared to sit by and monitor it as it will attract other kitties who may prevent your kitty from coming home, by scaring or bullying your kitty away *** If you see your kitty stay calm and APPROACH SLOWLY, shake treat bag gently or not at all because you do not want to spook kitty causing it to bolt. Don't say kitty's name loudly. Speak softly and gently. Use a flashlight if searching at night, eyes reflect light. If you're able to please check your doors often at night. Create a safe spot using a cardboard box sheltered from the elements of the weather adding some of kitties blankets, a sweater that has your scent on it, kitties basket, pillow. I keep my story on my clipboard to share with people who are trying to get their kitty home. I had just moved into a new place when my indoor-only cat found a slit in the screen door while my family was enjoying the cool breeze. I did not discover the slit until the next morning cause someone else opened the door. Put your dirty laundry out every night. "Fresh" dirty clothes every night. The cat's bed too. S/he is probably hiding very nearby. Do you have a surveillance camera? It took my cat 43 days to come home! It was day 42 that I hung up a cheap Amazon security camera, and on the very first night he could be seen going to my pile of dirty clothes!! (I already had 3 traps going nearby, two in my front and backyards, another at a neighbour's and I had caught many cats...just not mine). The next day, I moved one trap near that pile of laundry, baited with his wet food, and I trapped him the next night. Both visits on the camera were around 3 a.m. Previously, I had tried everything. I was out looking several times every day, evening and night, delivered flyers door to door, hung up posters, posted on social media, etc. ZERO sightings that whole time. Stay positive! The not knowing will drive you crazy! Stay positive and never stop looking. According to videos on how to find a lost cat, must people give up too quickly 💞 If it's warm enough they say to leave a window or a door cracked. Also dirty clothes hanging over and out the window ledge, etc. I'm sure they want to get home just as badly as you want them home.
