We think my cat may have escaped from my dad’s hse on June 27 in the Sutton Lakes neighborhood of Jacksonville. She was always an indoor/outdoor cat at our hse, but never roamed far. She just loved chasing lizards. My dad is cat-sitting for us while we are out of town for a couple of weeks (2,400 miles away!), and she has been missing for two days — hasn't touched her litter box or food. He can't find her and thinks she may have escaped. Unfortunately, he removed the AirTag collar we bought her, thinking it bothered her. There are five miles between my dad’s hse and our hse, and his hse backs up to a pretty wooded area. Thank you. PS The exact same thing happened last summer (she escaped through a hole in the sunporch), and she returned after four days. There was no hole this time, and he has no idea how she would have escaped this time, if she did. 😢
