Sharing your post with hope. You cannot legally give this dog away or rehome her. Report her to ACCT since that’s the first place people look when they lose a pet. There is a legal stray hold period they will observe if you leave her in their care. Young dogs like this tend to get out of ACCT via a private rescue. Whether ACCT or a rescue places this dog, they will carefully check out any potential owners. Minimally, you want to get this baby to a vet or shelter for a free microchip check that may find you her family fast. Please use caution w/anyone saying “it’s mine” or “I’ll take it.” Your post is public and may get shared anywhere. There’s rotten people who troll groups looking for free animals for unsavory things (like bait animals to train fighting dogs or for target practice… and they usually send their girlfriend with a child so you’d never guess). Pics are fakeable. You want vet references that you can verify. Thanks for looking out for this baby.
