Bailee Reid yeah, Shibas are naturally elusive dogs and typically only bond with their owners. They’re incredibly quick and intelligent. Notorious escape artists and quickly become aloof. They definitely have the lone wolf mentality, not all dogs have food drive. So it’s not that people are refusing, even in one of the updated posts the poster says the dog was moving too quickly. However the dog has been safely secured and back with his owners.

Karen Woo I have a Pomeranian and 4 other dogs. But if I saw a dog wandering by itself I would try with treats and a leash I always have in my car.
