I adopted Pico from the SFSPCA in 2018, as a kitten on Friday the 13th. I chose a black feline becase they were always the last adopted due to superstition. Pico has brought me nothing but luck and companionship ever since. I appreciate any help and good wishes in his return.

I heard about that Black Cat Myth by accident after I had adopted my jet black cat. I looked it up, and sure enough there’s the myth. Still odd to me. Milo, my black cat lives people. My first cat to do so. I had others, they weren’t as friendly as Milo. He’s a er for attention. For an all-black cat, he’s exceptionally friendly. That worries me always, and specifically during Halloween season. Now an all-new anxiety over Milo the Escape-Cat.
