For those questioning Sunny's future the goal is to first raise enough funds to get her "home", allow her to recover, see if she will be a good candidate to match with a veteran to become a service dog if an owner doesn't come forward while on the ten day stray hold. If Sunny turns out to not be a good candidate for becoming a service dog for a veteran she will go up for adoption thru Safe Haven, Almost Home Animal Rescue. We meaning Stacey Buckner (finder), Liz Greene (rescue President), Ree Nay(pet outreach Kind 2 Kritters Outreach) and myself all have a hand and interest in this girl's best future life as it's very apparent she's been through in her short life. I named her Sunny because of the pure joy she brought at such a sad time. All together so far only $125 has been raised in donations for her vetting. She can't technically enter a rescue until her 10 day stray hold is up. Carrie Jean Adkins I had a baby that healed from just the dewormer. My other 3 all had unique surgeries. 1 was a purse string at Points East and it was reasonable priced too.
