Kathy Barnes it's so easy to comment that. She was at the vet when you commented although it's really not that simple of getting an animal to the vet as it takes funds. We had her at Points East and then after talking to the vet tech with the wait time and emergencies higher priority than hers we opted to go with the option they provided of bringing her home keeping it moist with the jelly they provided and getting her to a vet this morning. She is currently at Cypress Lakes Animal Hospital receiving the care she needs X-rays blood work exam game plan for surgery

Donna Knight she was already at Points East when you posted that comment. We don't play in these situations. We did opt after talking with Points East Vet tech to bring her home and have her seen at a regular vet this morning so I stayed up all night sleeping in my car to keep her calm and the area moist with the ky jelly that points east gave us and the e collar we bought from them so she couldn't lick the area

Sharon Faucett Reeves I checked for a microchip myself. We took her straight to points east. After talking to the vet tech it was determined she was stable and they sent us home with jelly to keep her lubed/moist until we could find a vet this morning. Since she was stable any emergencies that walked in would have pushed her time back even more being seen and we were already at a wait time of about 6 am before she could be seen and then even longer for the surgery so after discussing with vet tech making sure she was stable enough to wait till this morning and get her into a regular vet where the surgery wasn't going to be 2,000 plus that's what we did. She's currently at Cypress Lakes getting the attention she needs and we need donations.

Carrie Jean Adkins unfortunately I'm not going to be able to donate much. I'm only going to be able to give about 50 but hopefully it won't go up too much, but considering it's almost $500 for x-rays and blood work it's not looking too good on the bill. And thank you for being a blessing to this little baby because without you there's no telling what would have happened to her on the side of the road.

Jennifer Jenkins you can call the vet and donate. Right now her bill is at $483 just for the blood work X-rays exam and coming up with the plan for the surgery
