~~Give a copy of the picture with information to the mailman in the area… They encounter many people & situation… Put a sign with information & picture in your front yard if you can & @ stop signs… For found animals Please take him to check for a microchip it’s free @ any Vet,Pet store etc. … Always get your animal microchipped, it gives a better chance of being reunited… There is always the possibility that a neighbor may have taken your “Fur~Baby” in thinking it was abandoned… Report any animal missing or found to your local dog pound… PetCo has free software that uses photo recognition to match your photo to photos from rescues and shelters.

Diane Ardente DeSantis It is even sadder that their own owners discard them like trash; there are far too many dogs roaming outside their homes in Marion Oaks. If people don't want pets, they can give them away or take them somewhere so others can adopt them. Every time I tried to catch her, she wouldn't let me. Those of us who live in the area where she turned up work all day; we aren't keeping an eye out for pets that irresponsible owners have let loose.

Wilmary Molero ConfioentimiDios just sad that nobody in the neighborhood could have at least put her in a garage or covered space with a fan. She is eating and drinking very willingly now that she's not overheated. How she did not collapse is beyond me. She's not presenting sick, just suffering from exhaustion and malnourishishment. Hard time walking correctly because of her nails. She will be properly cared for now.

Diane Ardente DeSantis People talk without knowing the facts; she was near my house, and I offered her food and water—though she ate very little. I have pets of my own, so I couldn't bring her inside, and I didn't know if she was sick. People often dump their pets when they don't want them anymore—especially if they're ill—and that poor dog clearly looks quite sick. I tried calling out to her, but she would just run away. There wasn't much else I could do, but thank God you were able to catch her and she’s in good hands now. Believe me, her owners don't want her; if they did, they would have looked for her, but they didn't. I posted about her everywhere, but I never got any response.

Holden Carrie nobody in that neighborhood helped that dog all day long in the sweltering heat. Thankfully a good person picked her up in the evening. She is not chipped. She is seeing vet today and then will be at Dobie Ranch rescue where we will care for her and continue to look for her family.

The dog looks like a senior and probably didn't wonder too far. I'm pretty sure this is a post about the same dog loose before he was picked up.
