I live in South Sacramento in the Meadowview area and I had just came back home from running errands. I got out of my car and there was a stray dog behind my car. I was startled and so was the dog, but I noticed the dog had a collar. Fast forward, I gave her food and she came to trust me. She's well trained (knows sit, stay, lay down, handshake) and her name is Holly. I was able to bring her into my backyard and gave her some more food and some water. She's very friendly. Just skittish and cautious. Poor thing... The collar only has a name tag and vaccine tag. There's no address or phone number. I was hoping maybe someone recognizes Holly and could let her owners know that she's with me. Please spread the word! In the mean time, I will call the clinic on her vaccine tag and try to trace her records back to her owner. I need to find her owners sooner than later because I have work and my uncle and auntie are not fans of pets. My auntie especially. She's frightened of animals/pets. Thank you!! 😊😭

Deb Motz Did you make this Post if yes please edit in my Post area if not if you can ask the finder if they did it they need to update who ever made the Post.... I hope to goodness I still got proof of ownership for its safety even if a vet called anybody could say oh yeah I'm them

Require proof of ownership. File online found reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. Take by Mueller Animal Hospital to scan for a chip. It's free to check.

Sherri Karle not sure if she had a microchip. I called the number on the rabies tag. She was vaccinated through Vetco. Vetco was able to reach the owner. Owner called me and I gave the owners number to the person that found her. 🥰
