OK, please listen carefully. Please read everything people are telling you to do. You must get flyers up everywhere make sure they’re up every day. In addition, please call your shelter the Irvine animal shelter and report your dog lost. Please fax a flyer of him over there. Keep in touch with them because someone may find him a week later and take him there. Keep checking Pawboost because someone may find him and post him. Check every day. In addition, please post on all lost petsites and nextdoor.com. This is critical. Leave an article of your clothing out front. Dogs can smell clothes from quite a way away. Drive around in your car call his name look everywhere. Check ring cameras if you can. Knock on peoples doors and tell them you lost your dog. Get all your family and friends to look for your dog. I pray you get your baby back as soon as possible.

🚨 LOST DOG – WHAT TO DO IMMEDIATELY TO HELP BRING YOUR DOG HOME 🚨 If your dog is missing, follow these critical steps right away: 🏠 Bring Them Home with Scent and Access • Hang dirty laundry (T-shirts, socks, shoes) high on a fence or branch to allow the wind to carry the scent - use items worn by the person your dog is most bonded with. • Dogs can smell home from miles away - your scent can guide them back. • Leave an access point open such as a cracked garage or front door in case they return. • Sleep near the front door if possible - your presence may help them feel safe enough to come back. • If you have other pets, keep them secured in a separate room. 📣 Post Signs & Notify Everyone • Make signs with a clear photo and your contact info. • Put signs everywhere - on poles, street corners, and especially on doorsteps in the neighborhood. • Ask neighbors to check security cameras (e.g., Ring) for sightings. 🌐 Spread the Word Online • Post on local: • Lost & Found Facebook groups • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighbors app • Include your contact info, dog’s name, and location last seen. 🐶 Microchip & Shelter Alerts • If your dog is microchipped, notify the chip company immediately and mark your pet as lost. • Call ALL nearby animal shelters and rescues, and leave a detailed voicemail if no one answers. Follow up daily. ⚠️ Beware of Scams • Do NOT send money or provide any verification codes. • Scammers often pretend to have your pet and demand payment. • A real finder will be happy to help and won’t ask for money.
