Thank you. I called Babs, the vet clinics in the area, posted her missing on multiple sites/pages. Going to the animal shelter on Bonita now. Also posting posters around Smart and Final and Chick-Fil-A.

AWayhomefordogs.com. When back consider getting her a GPS pet tracker. Attaches to collar and syncs to your phone. Inexpensive for peace of mind. Amazon has a bunch. Read reviews of any you are interested in. Not an Apple Air Tag. They aren't marketed as pet trackers. They need other Apple devices to bounce off of so they don't work in open areas or neighborhoods with not enough Apple devices. So a lost dog could be out there wearing an active AirTag and never be found that way if no Apple devices nearby. 2 people on Next Door have posted the pet rescues they volunteer for loan out GPS Tractiv brand pet trackers to loan to the volunteers of their rescues. ND has a missing/found pet group to search and post on. Facebook has a lot of local sites. Including Lost and Found Animals in San Diego County and Lost & Found Pets of San Diego County. Ring lets pet finders and those who have missing pets search and post on their free App even if you don't own any Ring Devices. Post signs around neighborhood. Leave Flyers with people and in mailboxes. Ask them to check their yards and their cameras periodically. Contact Animal Control and check the Humane Society online and in person regularly. A missing pet expert has reported people give up on searching shelters too early in the search. Sometimes it takes a month or months for a missing pet to turn up there.

Can Leave Message. She works from public donations. Can give you search advice. Can get more involved, like with humane trapping if she gets a recent physical sighting. Website: A WayHomeForDogs.com. Be careful of pet scammers. They will tell you they have her, know where she is or can find her. They can't and they don't. What they want is your money. A red flag is they request you send them money to a non traceable pay site like Zelle, Apple Pay, etc. Could be for a posted reward or they want their personal reward, or for treat, food, vet services, etc. A nationwide scam in different variations is a scammer will contact you and tell you they are a real vet or a real facility like the SD Humane Society. The real bane and phone number will appear on the phone screen called doxxing. That your dog was brought in injured, needs immediate surgery and a large prepayment, needs to be sent immediately to an untraceable pay site. Contact whoever they say they are first to verify, You look up the contact number, don't use the one they give you. Can also request they give you the dog's microchip number if she has it and get it done if not when back with you. Best form of Id, particularly for a pet scammer. Can ask for a photo of dog or them and dog. But be aware that AI can make a good fake photo or video of the original so check carefully. Can ask for a live FaceTime with them so you can see your dog. IF they make excuses, like their phone screen is cracked, there's a good chance they don't have Peanuts.
