Put up signs everywhere including your front yard, covered in plastic to protect from the rain. Know on doors and talk to your neighbors in case they have seen the dog/cat or have taken it inside or have sent it to animal control. Go to animal control every 2 or 3 days in person . Put three articles of clothing in you yard so it can find you and food and water, they can hear and smell for almost a mile away. Sit in your yard and call the dog/cat every five minutes for as long as you can. Listen for a response in between calls. You will be like the lighthouse Beacon for it to come home to. Post on evert lost and found site you can. For cats you may need to set a humane trap from 9pm till 6am cking every two hours and ck any wooded areas in case the cat has gone up a tree to escape a predator.

Post on Pawboost and lostmydoggie/lostmykitty and lost and found pets of North Carolina and also of Charlotte and go online with Charlotte mecklenburg animal care and control and post as lost/found and ck those sites for the dog/cat as found/lost

I know this is far away from where I live. Please put your cats bedding outside along with your stinky, dirty laundry. Meaning your stinky towels, socks, T-shirts, etc. Leave out water ask every neighbor or business around you if anybody has any video security footage of which way the cat went or if somebody picked it up. If the cat is micro chipped, please make sure your information is up-to-date. To whomever the owner go out with a flashlight bring treats or a can of tuna. This is a very rural area you use that flashlight to see the glow of his eyes the white of his coat you call him gently and you look underneath trucks, trailers sheds, Barns ,thick grass., down in sewers up in trees anywhere underneath tractors anywhere this baby can hide. That’s where you use the flashlight. Praying you get your baby back soon.🙏🙏🙏
