Post on Pawboost and the next door neighbor app. Put flyers out in your area.
Call and send flyers to vets, rescues, shelters and animal control in your county or surrounding counties if you live near another county too. Always go to shelters and animal control regularly.
Have a vet scan with a Universal scanner for a chip. Not all scanners will read other manufactures’ chip.
If your pet is micro chipped your pet can be located by being scanned by a universal scanner at a veterinary’s office. If not chipped, please consider this to help in the future in case you are separated from your pet.
IMMEDIATELY cut several smelly socks into strips
and hang everywhere outside. Lost dog experts
also highly recommend putting the dog's bedding
outside.
Create flyers, give to the mailperson, sanitation
workers, and pin to bulletin boards at
groc stores, tape to bus stops, etc.
