Where was she found? My coworker and I were driving down Chiquita today in between cape parkway and rum runners and saw a German shepherd walking on Chiquita. I pulled a u-turn and pulled over with another lady in a van. There was also a sheriff in a truck that had stopped as well. We tried calling her in, and she was about 5 feet from me, but she went off into a yard maybe around SW 51st lane or 52nd lane. The lady in the van was slowing traffic down (huge shoutout to her for that), but we wound up leaving after we saw that the sheriff was following her around to make sure she was safe. Just making sure that she’s ok, she seemed to be laboring her back a little as she was hunched over. So glad that you found your baby.

Check around the canals and start getting corrugated signs up and check in with Lee County Domestic Animal Services “lost pets” and you can also add a missing pet form. Hopefully he’s chipped.
