Shay Liberty Dogs are property and that is considered theft . Go to the 8th district police station at 63rd & Homan to fill out a theft report ? How long did you leave your dog in your apartment while moving out to the new place? Is it possible that this is a misunderstanding? That perhaps the maintainance person believed your had finished your move and the dog was abandoned? Even if hypothetically there were any unpaid fees or rent that would not give managment the right to take possesion of your dog and give it away or sell it to an employee or any one else.
