In March, while I was walking my dog, an unknown woman approached me and claimed that my the dog I had with me was her missing dog. I did not know this individual prior to this encounter. The woman showed me pictures of a puppy on her phone but did not provide any official documentation, proof of ownership, or microchip information to support her claim. I informed her that the dog belongs to my boyfriend and that we do have proper documentation, including veterinary records.
