Was your dog lost from a place other than it home IF YES your dog is a DISPLACED dog SEE BELOW A rescue volunteer If your dog is lost from a place not its home? Your dog is considered a DISPLACED dog Lost from a place nots its home Some useful info A rescue volunteer Your dog is lost but a “Displaced Lost Dog.” Your dog is still near where jumped off… hiding laying low… go back there now Bring your sweaty clothes/his blanket he will stay near Go there with a bright flashlight typically displaced dogs venture out at early morning/dawn and dusk Bring your dog’s favorite treat in small bag When you see your dog don’t yell,be calm, if it doesn’t come to you right away, crouch down make yummy sounds and toss a few treats its way Dogs lost become instinctual because they are in their own.. May not recognize you Patience is key Watch this video on YouTube Get a Kentucky fried chicken warm…it’s pretty delicious smelling and may draw your dog to the scent Make color copies of this post and add your cell. Handout to that area FEDX USPS USP DRIVERS SND POLICE. Call Animal Control and update, bring a handout. This above people have their eyes on the community… And maybe helpful in finding your dog Go to local Shelter search for him in person…give a handout go every day… The shelters are very busy go in person. CHECK, FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE Craig’s list and any neighbor site under FOR SALE. Sadly people sell.. Most important your dog has a leash attached it can get caught on brush, branches and not allow your dog to run or hide, not run/hide safe from predators…coyotes, unscrupulous people and cover self in this cold.. Check with all your local and surrounding area shelters and vets and put up flyers. Also check on craigs list under pets found and pets for sale. Also check on all the lost and found sites and on Nextdoor. Post on your local and County lost and found sites. Report your pup to the shelter and always go look in person. Praying for your pups safe return

I recommend that you reach out to Kisto Pawsave on Facebook they helped me find my dog, Sammy, and they're very fast in locating lost pets.
