Your dog is lost but a
“Displaced Lost Dog.”
Your dog is still near where jumped off… hiding laying low… go back there now
Bring your sweaty clothes/his blanket he will stay near
Go there with a bright flashlight typically displaced dogs venture out at early morning/dawn and dusk
Bring your dog’s favorite treat in small bag
When you see your dog don’t yell,be calm, if it doesn’t come to you right away, crouch down make yummy sounds and toss a few treats its way
Dogs lost become instinctual because they are in their own..
May not recognize you
Patience is key

Craig’s list and any neighbor site under FOR SALE.
Sadly people sell..
Most important your dog has a leash attached it can get caught on brush, branches and not allow your dog to run or hide, not run/hide safe from predators…coyotes, unscrupulous people and cover self in this cold..
