Leslye Erickson thank you so much! We've done most of this.... I didn't know to post on ring, im going to right now. Ive called all shelters and vets. I will call local police also. Were in process of making flyers now. We did walk around multiple times playing parakeet sounds on phone as she loves that but I didn't think to put it on speaker. Im literally playing on a speaker set up in back yard now!!! She is loved, though shes a pain in my behind at times.... she is already missed especially by her friend Chips (Pickels & Chips)!

Posted on Lost and Found birds of the US. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BGGNPiTT1/?mibextid=wwXIfr We are so sorry to hear your bird is missing. Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*

Searchers, keep an eye out for any pigeons and doves as budgies sometimes join up with them. Sharing.
