Description

Very vivacious, active (3-month-old approx.) kitten named Squeak for the constant noise she makes. Plays hard, loves hard, sleeps harder. We run a transport company, and she's my husband's road cat/co-pilot when he travels. Pictured with brother, Frank, she sleeps as hard as she plays and vice versa. Will be mid-pounce and pass out to take a nap and start all over again shortly thereafter. We love her, and my husband is devastated she escaped/or was cat-napped somehow this morning while he was picking up breakfast at McDonald's. Brooks' number is above. She responds to her name and comes to it (though she may take a few side trips) when called.

Message from Owner

Please, please, please keep your eyes open for this little pouncer, who runs sideways, and wants to explore, play, love, sleep and do it all over again all day long, every day. Squeak is our newest little one and just recently joined the clan after we put down our oldest cat almost a year ago. She's my husband co-pilot in his travels and our little adventurer. Squeaking when she talks, her purr box speaks/vibrates just as loudly as her youthful spirit of discovery.

Maria Fasseas Thank you for the good suggestions! I know he went thru the first several steps to no avail but had to get to delivery location to off-load shipment. If anyone saw his truck there and/or someone other than a man with dark brown hair/ponytail, please let us know. He and his shipment would've stuck out like a sore thumb - boat on a trailer pulling a trailer . The surveillance idea is hard to think of in the moment so I appreciate that and absolutely will do. We are wondering if she actually wasn't "taken," as he went inside for a few minutes and said our pup, Frank, seemed shaken when he got back into truck. I can understand and appreciate when it's super hot outside how a "Good Samaritan" could want to act if an animal's actually in danger, but, given the cold front, if someone actually outright took her, I can't imagine how heartless and cruel one could be to do something like that. Hopefully surveillance would reveal if that were the case.

Also ask business if you can access surveillance footage, most businesses have them nowadays. May see direction baby headed towards.

If you did not actually see her get out, could she still be hidden in the vehicle? If you are certain that she got out your best bet would be to return to the exact location she went missing from and begin your search there, a physical search with flashlights looking at hiding spots. She's probably still hidden after realizing that she was displaced to unknown surroundings. Put out food, water and items with her and your scents at location. Put up posters with businesses permission. If you're certain she got out, that's your ground zero and time is of the essence.
