o everyone, I’m a 17-year-old girl trying to find my dog, Birdie. She has been missing since my mom’s ex-boyfriend moved out of our hse. I’m currently out of town for a summer job, and when my mom returned home, Birdie was nowhere to be found. We have contacted local animal shelters and veterinary offices, but so far no one has reported finding a dog that matches her description. We are very worried and just want to bring her home safely. If you have seen Birdie or have any information about where she might be, please call or text me at. Thank you so much for your help and for sharing this post.

Does your dog have a microchip? If so, report missing to the chip company. They will send out alerts. And make sure your info (address, phone #) is up to date. Be sure to check the Animal Friends Humane Society stray area on Princeton Rd in Hamilton. If not seen, ask if your dog could be in a medical room, etc. They close at 4:30 pm today. And reopen tomorrow at noon. While there you can fill out a lost report. Check with your mail carrier, they see a lot. Check the neighbors cameras. May be able to see which way your dog went or if someone picked it up.

I live near the high school on Winston and will keep an eye out for her. Do you know what part of Eaton? Like up the hill past the High school or closer to main Street?

Please also notify your vet and vets nearby and in the surrounding area in case your pet is brought in for care. Notify any and all shelters and humane societies as well. I have heard it’s helpful to check shelters daily as possible. Please know we are praying! 🖤
