Put his bed and toys outside your house. It’s said they can smell it from up to a mile away. Use a flashlight to check under decks and bushes, as your cat may be injured and hiding. Ask neighbors to check crawl spaces and sheds. Put up posters, check shelters in person. If you are able, leave your garage door cracked. Call into storm drains. Call your kitty at dusk for at least an hour…it works. A scared cat may take a long time to come even to a familiar voice. Don’t give up. Statistically, your cat is within a two block radius of your house. Hope your kitty returns soon. Shared.
