Put her bed and toys outside your house. It’s said they can smell it from up to a mile away. Use a flashlight to check under decks and bushes as your cat may be injured and hiding. Ask neighbors to check crawl spaces and sheds. Call into storm drains. Put up posters, check shelters in person. If you are able, leave your garage door cracked. Call your kitty at dusk for at least an hour…it works. A scared cat may take a long time to come even to a familiar voice. Don’t give up. Statistically, your kitty is within a two block radius of your house. Hope your kitty returns soon. Shared.
