Have you checked with animal control in that area? Please check with them weekly and put up large missing cat posters Notify rest stop employees. See if a rescue in the area can help search and trap. Searching at night with a flashlight is helpful because the eyes will glow. If microchipped, notify the chip company and make sure they have your current contact info.

If you lost a pet: Visit Lexington-FayetteAnimal Care & Control or your local animal control in person every other day, strays can be adopted out after 3 days for cats, 5 days for dogs. Put flyers everywhere. Post to Lost and Found Pets of Lex Scroll Lost and Found Pets of of Lex and Pawboost for posts about found pets For birds, post to ParrotAlerts.com Ignore suggestions re instagram If its been more than 3 days also need to visit Lex Humane Society daily

Please check nearby storm drains and sewer pipes, vehicle engines and tire wells, plus attics and bats, garages and sheds, shrubs and bushes, and under buildings and porches. Good luck.
