Lee by the smaller one is the one who is lost. They have an enclosure but them and one of my iquanas is free roam around the house. My boyfriend went to go put the dog upstairs and when he came back down frank was out on the porch already and Cheyenne was missing. They are a lot faster than you think.. and they are tortoises.

Deb Vanderheiden they do they burrow and they’re very good at camouflaging. We have a huge porch and so underneath the porch is a lot of dead leaves, but we used a rake and we climbed down under there used flashlights. We looked everywhere.

Luanne Zuleger so this isn’t a turtle. This is a tortoise. There are two separate things also tortoises are extremely fast and they burrow and dig and camouflage themselves. He went upstairs to put the dog away and left the screen door open, and the turtle went into the porch and by the time he came back downstairs, it was gone. This is one of my animals.
