Susan Morgan We have been doing all of this. I have food in my garage with a camera and I have a camera by the front door that are both motion activated so I would know if she was trying to get back in. No luck so far💔 I honestly think someone thought she was a stray and has her in their house.

Go outside AT NIGHT with FOOD and call and look for her!!! This is how I FOUND MY CAT!!! She was hiding CLOSE BY in the storm drain next to my house!!!! She would sleep / hide in there during the day and come out AT NIGHT to eat the food I had put out for the stray kitties in my area! Otter is probably hiding CLOSE BY under bushes, under cars, in a storm drain, in a neighbor's yard or on a neighbor's porch etc. She may be coming to your house AT NIGHT and meowing to get back in but you cannot hear her - that is what mine was doing!!!! I was only looking during the day and was asleep when she was coming to my back door!!!!! Once I started looking AT NIGHT with FOOD is when I found her coming out of the storm drain!!! Put your dirty socks / laundry with your scent on it outside so she can smell it and find you! Cats have a wonderful sense of smell and she will be able to smell it! Create several "scent trails" around your house! Also, many have seen their cats on their doorbell cameras at 3am - 5am as it is QUIET and they feel safe to come out of hiding! Go outside at this time as well with FOOD and call her SOFTLY but shake her bowl LOUDLY as you look for her!!!!! Some say to sit on your sidewalk at NIGHT with FOOD and talk to her as if she was right there - if you sing to her, do that too! Do this for quite awhile and see what happens - she may walk up to you!!! Don't give up!!!!! She is probably hiding CLOSE BY, you just have to find her!!!!!! ❤✝🙏🐾

Be sure to check at CCAS. Stray hold is only 72 hours (this is new). They don't answer the phone so best to email or go in person.

Crack your garage a slight bit and will likely try to come home early morning when its quiet. Informative video on how to find your missing cat. https://www.facebook.com/374756619256467/posts/2701302119935227/

So sorry kitty is missing. My indoor only cat got out during construction and was missing for a week. Post on Next Door. If chipped, report missing to the chip company and ensure they have up to date contact info for you. File a missing report with the shelter online. I read indoor cats usually only stray 5-10 houses so I went door to door in a radius around my house and asked neighbors if I could search their backyards and under sheds. I also handed them a flyer. I walked around at night calling my cat and shining a flashlight in bushes to try to spot eyes. I cracked my garage slightly and put a lot of dirty laundry i.e. dirty sheets and blankets which helps with a scent trail. A neighbor spotted my cat in the storm drain closest to my house. I never thought to look there. It took 3 days after knowing she was in there until she came out. I do not have Ring, so I bought cheap motion sensor cameras and set them up at both doors that sent motion alerts to my phone.Good tips here: www.catsinthebag.org Paws crossed you are reunited soon.
