Description

My son works at Arbor acres retirement community here in Winston-Salem it’s off of 25th St. behind the CVS at Coliseum Drive. He said this stray husky dog has been inside the dog park inside the retirement community since yesterday. This is the best photo he can get because Management will not allow anyone to get close to the dog for liability reasons, but the Management has given the dog water my son said the dog has been there in the dog park since yesterday. Hopefully the owners can be found

Kelli Adams he’s been out of the heat since yesterday and he was there for two days under a tree next to a bench. They only had them because the sheriffs office was on the way and they wanted to make sure he didn’t wander off, but I called the animal shelter today. They said he’s doing really good. He’s good on walks. He’s very sweet and well-behaved. He has no microchip and no owners have called looking for him so after 72 hours they will place him on the adoption floor

Tara Scotland yes the sheriffs office went to pick him up yesterday and I called the animal shelter today just to check on him and they said he has no microchip and no owners have called looking for him, but he’s very well behaved and very sweet. He does good on walks and they said after 72 hours they will place him on the adoption floor.

Kerri Humphrey animal control was called. The sheriffs office came to pick him up yesterday. I called today to the animal shelter to check on him. They said he did not have a microchip and no owners have called looking for him. They said he’s well behaved. He’s very sweet and good on walks and they said after 72 hours they will place him on the adoption floor. And it’s a senior community where he was found a gated one you can’t go in unless you pass security, but a dog can find its way in there. He was there for two days.

I surely hope someone didn't purposely dump him there. It may be wise to call Animal Control. If he is a liability, then he can be picked up and checked for a chip or ID. Are there cameras there to see if the dog was placed there and left? It has to be hot with that Husky coat.
