Message from Owner

Ozai loves munching on grass and is friendly when he knows who you are. He is shy and will probs run if he is with someone unfamiliar. He has always been an indoor cat, so with the bad thunderstorms going on in Sterling Heights right now, his mom and I are very worried! Any information is helpful for us!

🙏❤️If lost close to home ...leave a door slightly open especially at night .... worked for our pet. Found them sleeping on the couch the next morning . Pets that are lost and scared most often will hide in underbrush tickets or shrubs close to home and feel safe to come out at night to find their way home

Put posters in a neighborhood, maybe he went to someone’s house, that’s happened to our cat, we looked for her all night and put posters around the neighborhood and next day someone called us and told us that our kitty came to their house and ran inside and stayed there, she was very scared and didn’t let them touch her. We just came and took her, that’s was a blessing

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
