84 yr old mother distraught, door left open and wondered off. Only moved to location 1 week ago. Cat has red collar with bell and tag saying Virginia's cat, but contact info is incorrect.

No he is not chipped but has a very distinctive snipped off tip of one ear. We found him as a stray at least 10 years ago. As mentioned we only moved in last month, so Mr Cat doesn't have a sense of where his home is. We think he wondered into someones hands because they started feeding him. That's how we got him all these years ago.

Put out his litter box and your shoes. He will smell them and hopefully didn't go far. Look for him at dawn and dusk, and around 3 am, those are times cats are active. Best of luck.
