I rescued Winter also known as Lady from my sister in Wilkes Barre around 2011 and brought her to Philly , we quickly learned that she loved the outdoors and unfortunately since I lived with my other sister who had strict rules Winter eventually became an outdoor cat with her own cat hse and thankfully all the neighbors took to her. Shes moved with us from West Philly to Mount Airy and last Upper Darby Pa. She was immediately taken to the SPCA btw where she was Spayed/ Neutered shots , Low cost vet care was always taken care of. I was arrested in July of 2025 and I was told à lovely neighbor of mine relocated her to Lansdowne along with half the cats on the street. I just want to know if Winter / Lady is safe. Im on hse arrest until Next March and have no way to know the whereabouts of my baby. Apologies if this is all over the place. Thanks in advance

Lost house cats usually do not go far. Look in,under, on top of all structures/trees in the near vicinity. Have a flashlight with you as his/her eyes will reflect in the dark. If you do see him/her, no sudden movements. Have some treats or his/her food with you. Also, if you can leave a door or window slightly open, he/she may come back in their own. Keep an ear to the outside after dark. Many kitties come back after dark and meow to be let back in. Leave a piece of clothing with your scent near the open space that is helpful.Have neighbors look in garages, sheds and other structures. Also if you did not see him/her get out or know for sure she/he did, check every inch of your house, she/he could be trapped or hiding somewhere. Good Luck!!

Have you contacted Animal Friends of Lansdowne or Helping Paws? Both do trapping operations in that area and your cat might perhaps have come through one of the rescues. I hope you get her back!
