Stephanie Snyder so we shouldn't allow them the last of the things they enjoy in life because they are blind? Thats crazy!. He chose to go out his doggie door on his own, while we were HOME . He was in a well structured, set up for blind dog, fenced yard. Only way to get out was the gate. He was blind and diabetic and young. Why force him to live fully in the dark? Thats absolutely mean and a sad and terrible existence. We gave him some dignity back. My heart breaks for your dog. Do better for it please.

Heather Fields My dog's eye vision is bad in one eye. If I had a fenced yard, I would keep a dog who can't see that well in the house unless I could be out with him in the yard. I do have another dog who runs. She got out today. If I go after her, she runs even further. So I closed the front door and eventually she came back. I've made my peace if she doesn't come back. I can't help that she likes to escape. I just can't imagine that a dog who is blind would get out of the house alone.

Veronica Swehla i have animals that are diabetic and some have hyperthyroidisum. All are fed 4 times a day plus have dry food at all times. They still look like we don't feed them. Even though we do and very well too I might add. Skinny doesn't mean neglected and a lot of animals loose their sight for reasons that cant be helped. Not everything is always the worse case senerio.

Stephanie Snyder our diabetic dog lost his sight. There was nothing we could do. And he accidentally got out the back fence when pge came thru. Wast our fault but we had to prove a lot to get him back. Poor guy I couldn't leave his side to even use the bathroom for weeks.
