MESSAGE FROM OWNER

I am still on the hunt for my baby girl Pootie. I really miss her. She got loose as I was moving and I have not seen her since. We moved from Garnett, KS. I miss her everyday and I have exhausted all of my resources trying to find her. Please please, if anyone can help me find her, I have a reward that I am offering. She is chipped, her fur is dark orange. She loves head and neck scratches and head butts ALOT, has never bit or hurt me or any other animals or people. Please please spread the word. It scares me the most that she could be anywhere.

DESCRIPTION

Swirled orange and white fur, white strip down left side of face, was originally a stray but very friendly, is spayed and chipped, had several litters when she was a stray so she has a bit of a loose, baggy tummy but very petite. Has a quiet meow.

If your kitty is fixed, it’s more than likely hiding somewhere close by. If you have a garage door, I’ve heard good success with leaving the garage door slightly cracked open so the kitty can get back underneath it with food inside and something with its scent on it. Notify neighbors. Go out at dark with a flashlight and look in bushes, under cars and sewer openings. Cats that are fixed don't usually travel far. Make up flyers and go door to door up and down the block alerting your neighbors to check their garages or sheds where the cat might be trapped. Shake some treats. Put something out that smells like you or him, if he/she is close he/she may be able to pick up his scent. Make a bright sign to put in front of your house that people will see as they drive by. If cat is chipped, check with animal control and nearby shelters. Post on nextdoor.com
