Walk up and down your neighborhood shaking favorite bag of food or treats or whatever gets Gus's attention at home. Try a toy laser light at night to bring him out of hiding. Knock on neighbor's doors and give them a good contact number in case they see him. Not everyone will read post or fliers. He will be elusive and scared so don't give up. He is close by, just keep looking for him Leave food, water, and a garment that has your scent by your door, but be aware of predators. You may want to consider buying a humane trap. Don't give up, it took us over a month to get our kitty back with the help of neighbors. Good Luck and God Bless!
