Cats usually do not go far from home When he settles for the night he is probably hiding to feel safe Go out as it is getting dark with a flashlight and look any where he could hide under decks porches in bushes if your neighbors have sheds that could have been open ask them to check inside He is probably close by Dont give up Cats have a good instinct to find their way home People might suggest outing out his litter box My vet always told me not to do that Other animals will be drawn to it and a cat will pick up their scent and will not approach Goid Luck hope he is home soon
