We saw this kitty in the woods yesterday morning and then in the parking lot last night. It was eating a piece of chicken someone threw out. He was extremely hungry so fed him cat food. The cat is very friendly and used to being held/picked up. He is also quite dirty so he's been outside for a while but seems in good health. No bites, wounds, parasites noted. I've not seen him before but will ask around apmt. I absolutely cannot keep this animal. For now he is safe in our bathroom. He is gorgeous!

Thank you for posting him. You might try taking some flyers door-to-door through your area to see if anyone is looking for him. Most of the cat rescues are full, but try anyway. I think Blue Ridge Humane Society may have a foster care list. I know it is not safe for cats to be outside, but if nothing else you might just feed him and give him some water and hope his owner sees the post or flyers. Bless you for your kindness! Praying.
