Zara is home safe from the animal control. I would caution folks turning dogs into animal control on weekends and holidays. The police put these dogs in this off hours housing unit until the next business day. The unit is very small. It is open to the elements, sounds of thunderstorms and put in a medium cage with only water. A large breed barely fits these cages. It is literally torture. Do this instead. 1. post the found animal on socials and give owners a chance to find them. 2. take the animal to a local animal hospital. They will chip search and license verify the animal for free and may provide a much quicker less traumatic experience for a found animal. Zara was found immediately after getting out and only 1 1/12 blocks from my home.
