Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well...supervise food outdoors. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

🚨 Please do this today and everyday, if it helps, print out a map of the neighborhood where the cat is lost. To map out your search, do a quick Google search for '[Your City or County Name] GIS property map'. Open the official .gov site, search your home address, and make sure the 'Parcels' and 'Addresses' layers are turned on. Use the map's built-in print button to export a detailed street map showing every house number on your block. Print a few copies so your search party can mark off exactly which houses have been checked or door-knocked. Ask for a "Parcel Map with Address Labels" or a "Building Footprint Map."When you open your local government’s GIS page, the standard street map usually won't show house numbers right away, you have to explicitly turn them on.The Exact Map Layers you Need to Check: Inside the map's menu (usually a Layers or Map Content sidebar), you need to make sure these specific boxes are checked:Addresses / House Numbers: This overlays the actual numbers (like 142, 144, 146) directly onto the grid.Building Footprints: This draws the physical shape of the house or building so they can see backyards and structures. ❗Where It Works Similarly- (The "Cadastre" System)In Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, governments use a highly formalized land-tracking system called a Cadastre (or Cadastral map). The Term to Use: Instead of telling people to search for "GIS," tell them to search for "[Country or City Name] Cadastral Map" or "Land Registry Map".Examples: France has Geoportail, Spain has the Sede Electrónica del Catastro, and the UK utilizes the Ordnance Survey. All of these allow residents to pull up hyper-detailed property outlines.Where It Differs Extensively, In many parts of the world, getting an official government map with individual house numbers is either impossible or works completely differently:Privacy Restrictions (e.g., Germany): Due to incredibly strict digital privacy laws, some local German municipalities restrict public access to detailed property boundaries and building identifiers.Different Addressing Systems (e.g., Japan, South Korea): Japan does not use consecutive street numbers (like 101, 102, 103 Main Street). Instead, blocks are numbered, and buildings are numbered based on when they were built or their position within that block. A standard U.S.-style street map layout doesn't exist there; people rely on specialized local block maps called Jutaku Chizu (residential maps).Developing Regions: In parts of Latin America, Africa, and rural Asia, physical street addresses and formal structural mapping are often not fully digitalized or updated by the government. Up to 30% of dwellings in some developing or rural territories lack a formal address entirely. The Global Universal Backup: OpenStreetMapIf a pet owner is in a country where the government website is too difficult to navigate, password-protected, or doesn't exist, tell them to use OpenStreetMap (OSM).Because OSM is globally crowdsourced, volunteers worldwide manually trace building footprints and add door numbers. In almost any major city worldwide, zooming all the way in on OpenStreetMap will reveal individual house numbers, and they can use the "Share" sidebar on the right side of the screen to directly export or print a clean PDF grid.
