Mommas is Missing in Commerce City, CO

Beautiful hair from constant grooming, part main coon so very vocal but Seems frail with how little she is when picked up. Doesn't like to be handled, a little spitfire with attitude due to surivng some very harsh conditions before rescuing her.

I got mommas right after my kitten in the middle of a move. Mommas short life of 3yrs has already been a gauntlet of extreme survival. Mommas and another cat were found left in a with 3 dogs and a snake with no way out, food or water. Her and the other cat had to fight to survive and the conditions were beyond extreme. When it was recognized that nobody had been back at this particular then inquiries told us, 7 weeks..7 weeks.. she attached to me with some patience and time to realize she didnt have to continuously be on the defense. She brought with her a litter of kittens that we have kept and fixed. The foster of two turned into nine and then one day she took off. I went to follow her and she had taken me to a burnt s of a down the road where she found kittens. Mommas loves to be, well, a momma, she thinks every kitten should be hers. So after speaking with neighbors to try and locate the owner with no luck, I ventured after mommas to grab the kittens and I was arrested. She watched the whole thing, it scared her so bad she ran in the and didnt come out and i was given strict instructions to not be near the . I was also told that nobody could help me to get her out due to asbestos and insurance issues with the . I have looked at every shelter everyday for months then about a wk ago there was activity by the homeowners of the burnt down , they personally werent there but i knocked on the neihbors door. A very kind lady and her daughter told me that they contacted the feline fix due to seeing a few cats going in and out of the and they verified my momma cat was trapped, spayed and was being fostered by the feline fix. They explained how great the feline fix was by getting so involved and keepin them in the loop with information on my momma cat. I was so relieved I immediately tried to call with no answer, so an email had to do, explained everything and expressed my gratitude and my eager to see my momma cat. I patiently waited for 2 days then a reply from the feline fix explaining that they don't trap cats nor shelter cats or strays, they only work with vulnerable kittens and ones with special needs, that they had not seen my cat come through their clinic. I was very confused as this contradicted everything their website says they offer and they never asked the age, description or whereabouts of my cat to even give me an answer besides, they without a doubt Do not have my cat, to contact riverdale shelter. I couldnt figure out how to attach the emails but once I do I will. Until then she is greatly missed, her kittens look for her, they cry for her and so do I. Please if anyone can help bring my mommas we would be so greatful.
