Cat experts say a cat that lives inside will get scared once it’s outside! So they don’t go far they will try to hide behind something or under something. Also check with animal control in case they pick your cat up.

When I lived in Houston and my cat got out, I walked the neighborhood/blocks around my house calling for her at intervals between 12-3am (when it is really quiet) for several nights and I was able to draw her back towards our house and eventually I caught her in our yard. I have given this advice many times and so far most people have been able to find their cats. Don't give up! Your cat is probably just scared, hiding and needs to be drawn out! 🙏🙏🙏
