He could be a neighbor’s indoor/outdoor cat. If you take the cat to any vet or shelter, they can scan for a microchip at no cost to you. Post large, easily read flyers with the cat's picture. Place a found ad on nextdoor.com. Ask for proof of ownership.

Pretty kitty. Put posters in large area surrounding where found. Post on PetFBI and other lost pet agencies. If claimed ask for proof of ownership. Thanks for taking care of kitty.
