No, it’s been 4 years ago, I know it’s a long shot, but I didn’t know about these resources until recently. Pumpkin may not be around anymore which I’m dreading so, I’m not expecting anything to come of this, but if someone has taken her in and they see this post, I’d love to know she is doing well and she has a loving home

Debbie Selecky it was confusing for us too, I’m sure it was even more confusing for pumpkin, we had rescued her from being a stray about a month and a half prior to her giving birth, then she “attacked” my sister who was harassing her, so my dad gave her to a “friend” to have her be a barn cat, but she didn’t get the needed car and disappeared

I am so confused by what you’re saying I thought your father got rid of the cat because he aggressive because pumpkin aggressively attacked your sister and sent the cat to a barn but now you’re saying the cat was a stray so I’m very confused

Candace Mitc if somebody takes a house cat and puts them in a barn usually either a coyote or a hawk gets them so now I don’t really think pumpkin is OK actually I’m pretty certain pumpkins not OK.

Bonnie Thomoson it was poor education on my dad’s part. He didn’t realize that my cat “attacking” my sister was because she was protecting hers and her babies space. He though “aggressive cat” and got rid of her. He regrets it now, and we all gave him a really hard time about it. Fortunately though, when we (me and my mom) educated him on it he seemed to understand a bit better. It doesn’t change what happened, but it can prevent it from happening again in the future❤️‍🩹

Debbie Selecky no, i completely understand! I’m with you, and that’s exactly what it was plus she was pregnant when she came to us, my sister kept harassing her and her babies, so Pumpkin got territorial, which was completely understandable. My sister even agreed when she finally explained the whole situation. My mom and I begged my dad to let us keep her but since he was raised around dogs, he didn’t understand. After she was gone, we VERY PASSIONATELY educated my dad and he seemed to understand what was wrong with what he did, but it was too late at that point, his friend had lost where she was. Thankfully the cats we do have now(though they are good at being messy little critters❤️) aren’t getting kicked out. He knows now what he did and it’s sad, but it doesn’t change the past😔 I just want to know if she is okay though, she may be someone else’s baby now, and if that is the case I’m not going to rip her away from a loving home. Just to know if she is alive or not would be enough for me Unfortunately though, she was a stray and there wasn’t enough education for the person in corntrol at the time

Debbie Selecky I know that feeling I have 13 rescues aging from 1 year to 2 years old (4) then the other 9 are 16 plus They are my life my fur kids
