Candace Mitc cats usually don’t just attack for no reason they’re either overstimulated and from what you’re describing, your sister, probably not knowing got the kitty pumpkin overstimulated and then they can bite put their claws out. It seems like aggression, but it’s overstimulation. Clearly your family knows nothing of cats or something is scaring them but to make a house cat a barn cat that’s a death sentence. I’m sorry I have very strong views on this because my mother had cats she didn’t take care of. I can’t really tolerate it.

Debbie Selecky We had taken her in as a stray so when she “attacked” my sister my dad got angry and asked a friend to take her so she could become a barn cat. Unfortunately the friend claimed that they would take care of her and he didn’t, it wasn’t entirely my dad’s fault, but I do wish it was better thought out😔
