She will likely come to you if you swat down and offer your hand then wait for a bit. She will also let you pick her up.

Jill Slachta Jill Slachta I have 3 options for you to reach out too. I’m not certain if they all do Fairfield county, but I know the heat seekers one does. Just not sure if they do cats as it’s mostly dogs they find. Worth asking though! The other 2 share more kitties being found. Wandering paws is not a drone service though, they set up trail cams and traps which is also a great option to try, and the dog and drone one I believe does drone and trail cams. They also have a drag and drop scent technique that works amazingly well. I’m sure they can also offer tips and what would work best in your cats situation. I would reach out asap. They are professionals and can guide you in the right direction at the very least.

I also posted on your Nextdoor post. I would consider contacting Lost Cat Finder for advice/tips/help. Rowayton is a long way from MedVet but I hope she she won't be trying to find her way back there since that is apparently her home turf.

Jill Slachta since she is friendly but shy, they usually stay close to where they escape from especially not knowing the area. I would put up a poster by the apartments over there. Might be worth contacting a company that helps find lost pets that search with drones since it is wooded and covers more ground. I’m sorry you have to go through this.

Lynn Demirjianyou are right! We found her near our home in Rowayton last week. Today we brought her to MedVet in Norwalk and she escaped the carrier and is somewhere there in the woods. An unbelievable turn of events :( Thanks for checking
