Description

Floppy is an all black cat. Hes not neutered and has a fat head. His eyes are always droopy like hes constantly tired and his meow is so small it almost sounds like a honk.

Message from Owner

I dont wanna give up hope. Everyday I check. Everyday I search. I know its been 2 years but I know Floppy is still out there. Hes a kind loveable cat, hed befriend the whole world if he could. He wants to do nothing but cuddle inside the hse and purr until he falls asleep. Hes my big baby and I miss him dearly. I really dont think he ran away I think someone may have picked him up because of how loveable he is and i dont blame anyone for being kind. Hes named Floppy because when he was a kitten hed flop in your arms, like he didnt have a care in the world, he trusted us so much. As he grew he would walk in front of us and flop on the floor, rolling around and squeaking until you pet his belly. He really is just a sweet angel.

I have a male cat not neutered out here at my place. He just showed up here about two months now. He is very sweet. I can tell he had a good home by the way he acts. He was very hungry so I have been feeding him. Will post another picture of him rolling around.

The only way a lost cat can find its way home is with its nose. They have to use their sense of smell to get home again. Put anything outside that smells like their territory. Put the pajamas you slept in outside because you probably sweated in them. Put out their food your stinky socks your smelly sneakers anything you can think of that the cat will recognize by smell. Cats usually stay within a five house radius of their own home for up to a week or so sleeping in the bushes during the day and coming out at dusk and dawn. Those are good times to take a walk shaking the treat bag calling out but cats also tend to come out and walk around very late at night. Try to keep a door cracked if you can whether it's the garage or whatever or a window cracked so you can hear them if they call out for you. Put this on all of the neighborhood pages as well as lost and found pets sites. Knock on the neighbors doors and make sure they know you're looking for your cat. Good luck PS cats can smell up to one mile away from their own house. Absolutely no litterbox outside or food. It attracts predators is why. Never give up.
