Please this man find his lost little Senegal parrot. Lost today, January 11. 2026 at fields of the Wood in Murphy NC. We were passing through and live south Georgia. This site popped up on Google not too far away from a place we were staying and I love such sites so I paid it a visit around 4 PM today. However, we were traveling with my pet parrot and by accident, he was able to get out of his cage and escaped our vehicle while we were parked there. This happened somewhere perhaps around 4:15 to 4:25 PM. I was there till 8 PM hoping against all hope that he would come back and calling for him and praying for Christ to return him to me. I have not given up hope though the reality is a tropical parrot doesn’t do very well in the temperatures that were already in place while it was daylight. Panicked and there were plenty of other birds around which only exacerbated the issue. At first, he went up in the trees out of sight and was chirping for help, but then his tripping ceased which knowing his personality, most likely means he was either afraid or had fallen off since I was not by the vehicle at the time it happened. Most likely he was looking for me and then got scared by the other birds, and just this sheer unfamiliar nature of the surroundings. I know this is not the purpose of your page. But his name is Morgan. He will be skittish, but he is a good boy. If you see him, please call or text me immediately at **********. I plan on returning in the morning and hoping that I will be blessed to find him somehow alive and well. But honestly, it would take a miracle for him to make it through the night. Alternatively, if he did not find human company to rescue him from the cold during the daylight hours, if he had fallen off from the site entirely, then I hope a nearby resident could possibly have fountain somewhere nearby and provided him shelter and care, please advise if you know of any other place that I should post this message in the off chance that there is a miracle regarding my little buddy. But even if somebody would to come across this little green and yellow body of mine with his little grey head deceased from the cold weather, I would like to know so I can come and take him home to bury him. It is hard for me to post this, and I am beside myself with grief. Please pray for Morgan. And pray for me and my family. The Lord has helped us through some really rough times, but this creature is very much like a son to me. And I would love if the Lord who watches the sparrows arranged to help my buddy. Even if the passing of the daylight hours seems to be doom in regards to this cold mountain air and its impact on a tropical animal. Again, if you see him or can help me whether he’s alive or dead, do not hesitate to call. **********. Of course Text as well if you don’t get immediate answer if you’re able. The words that he knows how to say, though he is a bit reserved when it comes to talking, he recognizes his name Morgan and will even repeat it to himself. He likes the phrase “Morgan is a good boy.” “come here” and “I love you.” When I present, he tends to be quiet as he usually says these things to draw me into the room. That is noisy as a parent can be. He usually stays entirely silent in my company and uses his words just to draw me over to him usually. Currently, it’s 9:27 AM on January 12 and I am back up here but so far no sound or sign of him. I’m hoping when it warms up a little bit more perhaps he will be able to respond if he’s awake and aware.

Posted on Lost and Found birds of the US. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1WT17zALtf/?mibextid=wwXIfr We are so sorry to hear your bird is missing. Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
