This has been an emotional day. I have been in contact with Elijah Duclairjeune and his family. God works in mysterious ways. They received Luna (Star) from someone (I do not know who that person is yet) but they have given enough proof that they were not aware Luna was a missing dog. Luna got away from them and her last known location is Petersburg. Elijah has been keeping communication with me as they been actively trying to get her back. They now know we are Luna’s original owner and is microchipped and has been very helpful. Elijah did NOT steal Luna from us and hopefully we can work together to find her in his area. I will be in contact and visiting shelters in Petersburg/dinwiddie counties tomorrow. Bless his family and everyone sharing and helping us both. That is what brought us together to find out we were missing the same dog. We are still in need of help locating her.

Amy Catherine thank you so much as this has been an emotional journey for us. I have indeed been in touch with Elijah Duclairjeune and will edit my comments. He did not know Luna had a family and I’m actively trying to find out if it was indeed one of our neighbors or neighbors friends who sold Luna to him but so far he’s been very sincere and helpful and he was not the one who took Luna from us. I’m praying now that we know the area she’s in we can find her.
