If chipped, notify the chip company ASAP and confirm contact info. File online lost reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. Keep checking shelters online and in person. Check Craigslist lost/found and pets for sale ads.

be sure to put on Elk Grove,CA lost and found pets Facebook Group and Elk Grove lost and found pets.Post to South Sac lost and found pets Facebook Group as well if your near border of both could go either direction.Put on Nextdoor App and Neighborsring App daily so nobody forgets....In every post put MISSSING with date/time/year escaped, cross streets and best #'s to go to any potential spotting ASAP its critical.DO NOT respond to any codes its scammers.File lost reports with Elk Grove shelter and Sac County if your address is Sac County where missing.ALL OWNERSawre there responsibility to check there websites multiple times a day and get into shelters every other day or two, speak with them each time there and show pics...Your at fault if you dont BE CONSISTENT doing as long as it takes...Deceased not on websites...Even if microchipped DO NOT rely on anybody calling..BIG MISTAKE...PLEASE respond is Bear Microchipped???
